Police appeal for witnesses following an assault in High Wycombe

An appeal for witnesses has been launched by Thames Valley Police following an assault in High Wycombe.

On Friday 23rd September 2022, at around 3.20am, a man in his forties, was involved in an altercation with two men outside Metro Bank in Eden Walk.

During the altercation, the man in his forties received a punch to the head which caused him to fall and hit his head on the floor. He sustained serious head injuries and was taken to hospital. He has since been discharged.

One of the offenders is described as a white man, of slim build, with short blonde or brown curly hair. He was wearing a white t-shirt and a black jumper tied around his shoulders with dark trousers and white trainers.

The other offender is described as a black man, of muscular build, with short braided hair. He was wearing a dark green top with the number 23 on the back and jeans.

Investigating officer, Detective Constable Christian Meichsner, based at High Wycombe police station, said: ‘We are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed what happened to please come forward.

We believe that a number of people who had come from Trilogy nightclub may have seen what happened and we would ask for them to get in touch.
