Appeal for witnesses launched by police following an incident of affray in Beaconsfield
An appeal for witnesses has been launched by Thames Valley Police following an incident of affray in Beaconsfield.
On Saturday 1st October 2022, at around 2.30am, an altercation took place between two groups on Maxwell Road, near the town centre. During the altercation a man was hit over the head with an object which is believed to be similar to a metal crowbar. The victim sustained a lump to his head but did not require hospital treatment.
One group of men then got into a silver Audi car and drove off.
Investigating officer PC Charlotte Wythe-Pearce, based at Amersham police station, said: ‘I am appealing to anyone who witnessed this incident in the early hours of Saturday morning, or the circumstances leading up to the altercation to get in touch. What you saw or heard could prove vital to this investigation.

Police have arrested a 20 year old man and a 25 year old man, both from Stoke Mandeville and a 23 year old man from Aylesbury on suspicion of assault, affray and possession of an offensive weapon. They have been released on bail.
