Man dies following a road traffic collision in Cressex, High Wycombe

A witness appeal has been launched by Thames Valley Police following a fatal Road Traffic Collision in High Wycombe.

On Saturday 8th October 2022, at around 12.30am a blue VW Polo and a grey Citroen C4 were involved in a collision on Cressex Road at the junction of Coronation Road.

The driver of the Polo, a man in his twenties, sadly died at the scene. His next of kin have been informed and are being supported by specially trained police officers.

The driver of the Citroen, a man in his fifties, sustained minor injuries.

Investigating officer, Sergeant Edward Crofts, of the Joint Operations Roads Policing Unit, said: ‘We are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed this collision to please come forward.

We would also ask anyone with dash-cams who may have been in the local area to check footage in case it has captured something that may assist the investigation.
