Roadworks in Buckinghamshire for the week ahead – Monday 17th October 2022

Week commencing Monday 17th October 2022 roadworks are scheduled to take place at the following locations in Buckinghamshire.

The works are part of a rolling programme. As some activities are weather dependent the dates may change at short notice.

Conventional Resurfacing Works

Oxford Road, Denham – From A413 to A412 : Monday 17th October 2022 to Thursday 3rd November 2022 – Resurfacing works using road closures between 8.00pm and 6.00am.

• From Monday 17th October 2022 to Thursday 3rd November 2022, TfB will be on the north-westbound carriageway from opposite the A412 junction to the junction of Skylark Road (not including the junction).
• On Friday 21st October 2022, TfB will be closing the right-hand turn lane of the A40 to the A412, these works will also include the north-westbound closure as above.
• On Tuesday 1st November 2022 to Thursday 3rd November 2022, TfB will be on the north-westbound carriageway from opposite A412 junction to Toby Carvery (including the junction of Skylark Road). On the south-east carriageway from opposite Toby Carvery to just past the junction of Amersham Road (including the Amersham Road junction).

Berkeley Avenue, Chesham : Monday 17th October 2022 to Tuesday 18th October 2022 – Microsurfacing preparatory patching works using a road closure in operation Monday to Friday between 7.30am to 7.30pm.

Tedder Road, Wendover : Monday 17th October 2022 to Tuesday 18th October 2022 – Microsurfacing preparatory patching works using a road closure in operation Monday to Friday between 7.00am to 7.00pm.

Aylesbury Gyratory Refurbishment – From Walton Road to Stoke Road : Monday 10th October 2022 to Friday 25th November 2022 – Various civils works, new traffic signals, lining, surfacing, and electrical works using lane closures and multi-way lights in operation Monday to Friday between 9.00am and 3.30pm during School term time and 8.00am and 5.00pm from Monday 24th October 2022 to Friday 28th October 2022.

Drainage Improvement Works

Penn Road, Hazlemere – From Curzon Avenue to Tudor Road : Monday 10th October 2022 to Friday 4th November 2022 – Drainage improvement works using 24-hour three way-temporary traffic lights and a footway closure. A road closure will take place on Monday 24th October 2022 to Friday 28th October 2022 in operation Monday to Friday between 9.30am and 3.30pm.

Lining works

Oxford Road, High Wycombe – From Arch Way Roundabout to Bellfield Road : Tuesday 18th October 2022 to Saturday 22nd October 2022 – High friction surfacing and lining works using a road closure between 8.00pm and 6.00am.

Highway Infrastructure Projects (HIPs)

A41 Bicester Road – Rabans Lane to Paradise Orchard including Jackson Road and Dickens Way, Aylesbury : The ditch realignment from Stonebridge to Paradise Orchard weather permitting should be completed next week using 24 / 7 inside narrow lane. From Monday 17th October 2022 until 31st October 2022 TfB will be carrying out snagging work including erecting large direction signs, replacing damaged kerbs, installing rain gardens at the Jackson Road and Dickens Way junctions with A41 and topsoiling and seeding the verges, these works will be done with lane incursions to allow traffic to flow. On Tuesday 25th October 2022 for 3 nights for carriageway patching remedial works using a night closure from 8.10pm to 5.45am along the A41 from Rabans Lane to Paradise Orchard traffic signals, including both side roads at Jackson Road and Dickens Way.
