Roadworks in Buckinghamshire for the week ahead – Monday 24th October 2022
Week commencing Monday 24th October 2022 roadworks are scheduled to take place at the following locations in Buckinghamshire.
The works are part of a rolling programme. As some activities are weather dependent the dates may change at short notice.
Conventional Resurfacing Works
Oxford Road, Denham – From A413 to A412 : Monday 17th October 2022 to Thursday 3rd November 2022 – Resurfacing works using road closures between 8.00pm and 6.00am.
- From Monday 17th October 2022 to Thursday 3rd November 2022, work will take place on the north-westbound carriageway from opposite the A412 junction to the junction of Skylark Road (not including the junction).
- On Friday 21st October 2022, the right-hand turn lane of the A40 to the A412 will be close, these works will also include the north-westbound closure as above.
- On Tuesday 1st November 2022 to Thursday 3rd November 2022, work will take place on the north-westbound carriageway from opposite A412 junction to Toby Carvery (including the junction of Skylark Road). On the south-east carriageway from opposite Toby Carvery to just past the junction of Amersham Road (including the Amersham Road junction).
Gore Road, Burnham – Lent Rise Road to Reedham Road : Resurfacing works using a road closure in operation Monday to Friday between 8.00pm and 6.00am.
Microsurfacing Preparatory Works
Honor Road, Great Missenden : Monday 24th October 2022 to Tuesday 25th October 2022 – Microsurfacing preparatory patching works using a road closure in operation Monday to Friday between 7.00am to 7.00pm.
Microsurfacing Headline Treatment Works
Black Park Road, Wexham – A412 Uxbridge Road to Rowley Lane : Monday 24th October 2022 to Friday 4th November 2022 – Microsurfacing headline treatment works using a 24-hour road closure at the junction of Black Park Road and A412 Uxbridge Road and give and take traffic management on Black Park Road from the junction with A412 to Rowley Lane for Gully Emptying.
Mill Road, Marlow : Monday 24th October 2022 to Tuesday 25th October 2022 – Microsurfacing headline treatment works using a road closure in operation Monday to Friday between 8.00am to 6.00pm.
Church Street and The Square, Great Missenden : Wednesday 26th October 2022 to Thursday 27th October 2022 – Microsurfacing headline treatment works using a road closure in operation Monday to Friday between 8.00am to 6.00pm.
Microsurfacing Ironworks
Tower Road, Coleshill : Saturday 22nd October 2022 to Friday 28th October 2022 – Raising ironworks using a road closure and give and take traffic management in operation between 7.00am and 5.00pm.
Fox Road, Holmer Green : Saturday 29th October 2022 to Tuesday 1st November 2022 – Raising ironworks using give and take traffic management in operation between 7.30am and 5.00pm.
Footway Improvement Works
Broughton Avenue, Aylesbury – From Richmond Road to Parton Road : Monday 17th October 2022 to Friday 9th December 2022 – Footway improvement works using a footway closure and give and take traffic management in operation Monday to Friday between 9.30am and 3.30pm.
Narbeth Drive, Aylesbury – From Eastfield Road to Henry Road : Wednesday 19th October 2022 to Friday 28th October 2022 – Footway improvement works using a footway closure and give and take traffic management in operation Monday to Friday between 9.30am and 3.30pm.
Department for Transport Fund Works
Aylesbury Gyratory Refurbishment – From Walton Road to Stoke Road : Monday 10th October 2022 to Friday 25th November 2022 – Various civil works, new traffic signals, lining, surfacing, and electrical works using lane closures and multi-way lights in operation Monday to Friday between 9.00am and 3.30pm during cchool term time and 8.00am and 5.00pm from Monday 24th October 2022 to Friday 28th October 2022.
Drainage Improvement Works
Penn Road, Hazlemere – From Curzon Avenue to Tudor Road : Monday 10th October 2022 to Friday 4th November 2022 – Drainage improvement works using 24-hour three way-temporary traffic lights and a footway closure. A road closure will take place on Monday 24th October 2022 to Friday 28th October 2022 in operation Monday to Friday between 9.30am and 3.30pm.
Beacon Road, Ringshall : Monday 24th October 2022 to Wednesday 16th November 2022 – Drainage improvement works using a road closure in operation between 8am and 5pm and temporary traffic lights when necessary.
Network Safety Improvement Works
Stoke Road, Aylesbury – From Chiltern Street to Mandeville Road : Wednesday 19th October 2022 to Monday 31st October 2022 – Zebra crossing improvement works using three-way temporary traffic lights in operation 8.00am and 5.00pm.
Bridge Schemes
High Street, Marlow – Marlow Bridge : Monday 10th May 2021 to Friday 16th December 2022 – Major bridge refurbishment using a footway closure when appropriate in operation Monday to Friday between 8.00am and 5.00pm.
Highway Infrastructure Projects (HIPs)
A41 Bicester Road – Rabans Lane to Paradise Orchard including Jackson Road and Dickens Way, Aylesbury : The contractor will be carrying out snagging work including erecting large direction signs, replacing damaged kerbs and rain gardens at Jackson Road and Dickens Way junctions with A41 and top soiling and seeding the verges, these works will be done with lane incursions to allow traffic to flow.
- On Tuesday 25th October 2022 for three nights there will be one last night closure from 8.10pm to 5.45am along the A41 from Rabans Lane to Paradise Orchard traffic signals, including both side roads at Jackson Road and Dickens Way for carriageway patching remedial work. Works will also be taking place on the junctions with the A41 and top soiling and seeding the verges, these works will be done with lane incursions to allow traffic to flow.
- On Tuesday 25th October 2022 for three nights work will be carried out on the carriageway patching remedial works using a night closure from 8.10pm to 5.45am along the A41 from Rabans Lane to Paradise Orchard traffic signals, including both side roads at Jackson Road and Dickens Way.
