Pub in Amersham wins Tripadvisor Traveller’s Choice Award

A pub in Amersham has been named winner of TripAdvisor’s Traveller’s Choice Award for 2022.

Each year Tripadvisor celebrates restaurants and venues that constantly deliver amazing experiences for their communities with a Travellers’ Choice Award. The White Lion pub in White Lion Road, Amersham, HP7 9LJ was recognised by Tripadvisor for all of the positive reviews and ratings it has earned over the last year from guests who visited.

Heather Odell, General Manager of The White Lion and the pub team pride themselves on providing great service to all of their guests and creating a warm, welcoming atmosphere where individuals can feel relaxed and enjoy their time.

The popular local pub is a space for all in Amersham and welcomes children and is even dog friendly, meaning the whole family can enjoy a trip out. The pub’s offering plays a large part in making the guest experience great, with delicious food and drinks and brilliant entertainment.

The White Lion aims to provide the best food and drinks for its loyal customers and has a talented kitchen and bar team to help in doing so. The pub has recently launched its new menu containing seasonal dishes, and continually offers classic pub dishes which are popular amongst customers. Sunday Roasts are also available, which sees many individuals come to the pub with friends and family to share their Sundays over a traditional roast in a home away from home environment. As well as the pub’s delightful food menu, there is an extensive range of drinks available, with so many options to choose from, there is always something for everyone.

There are lots of customers in the local community who regularly spend time in The White Lion, and Heather and the team continue to put on things to do for everyone to get involved with. There is a weekly quiz night on Mondays, which customers love as they can come along with friends and family and put their knowledge to the test with other in the Amersham area. The pub also caters for all the sports lovers in the community, screening live sports on their two TVs all with Sky Sports and BT Sports.
