Police appeal for witnesses following a robbery in Aylesbury

An appeal for witnesses has been launched by Thames Valley Police following a robbery in Aylesbury.

On Tuesday 10th January 2023, at around 4.00pm, an 11 year old boy was walking along Wendover Road. At the junction with Wendover Way he was approached by a group of around three or four males who pulled the hood of the boys coat over his head, held his arms back and stole his backpack.

After the robbery the group of males ran off towards Milton Road.

The males involved in the incident are described boys or young teenagers that were older than the victim and all were wearing coats. One was wearing a blue coat, another offender was wearing a green coat and another offender was wearing a black coat.

Investigating officer, Detective Constable Mandy Cutler, based at Aylesbury police station, said: ‘I am appealing to anyone who may have witnessed this incident, or who has information about what happened, to please get in touch.

I’d also ask any motorists who were in the local area and have dash-cams to please check their footage in case it has captured something that could assist the investigation.
