Pedestrian seriously injured following a road traffic collision in High Wycombe town centre

An appeal for witnesses has been launched by Thames Valley Police following a serious injury road traffic collision in High Wycombe.

On Tuesday 17th January 2023, t around 12.00pm, an orange Vauxhall Mokka was involved in a collision with a pedestrian on the A40 Oxford Road outside of the Eden Shopping Centre in High Wycombe town centre.

The pedestrian, a woman in her eighties, sustained serious injuries and was taken to hospital for treatment.

Investigating officer, PC Christopher Miller, of the Joint Operations Roads Policing Unit, said: ‘We are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed this incident to please come forward.

If you are a motorist with a dash-cam and you were in the area at around this time on Tuesday, please check any footage in case it may have captured something that could assist with the investigation.
