Appeal for witnesses launched by police following a burglary and robbery in Gerrards Cross

An appeal for witnesses has been launched by Thames Valley Police following a burglary and robbery in Gerrards Cross.

On Thursday 19th January 2023, at around 8.40pm, four men forced entry in to a property in Hillcrest Waye and carried out a search of the property. It is not believed that anything was taken.

At around 9.00pm, also on Thursday 19th January 2023, a robbery took place on Moreland Drive during which a blue Nissan Micra was stolen.

The offenders are described as four men, aged in their thirties and forties, wearing masks and dark clothing.

Staff investigator Kulbir Punia, based at Amersham police station, said: ‘Due to the close location of these incidents and the similarities in the description of the offenders, we believe that these incidents are linked.

We’re appealing to any witnesses, or anyone who may have information about either incident, to please get in touch.

We’d also appeal to anyone who may have dash-cam or doorbell footage of the local area around the times the incidents happened to please check any footage in case it may have captured something that could assist our investigation.
