Roadworks in Buckinghamshire for the week ahead – Monday 30th October 2023
Week commencing Monday 30th October 2023 roadworks are scheduled to take place at the following locations in Buckinghamshire.
The works are part of a rolling programme. As some activities are weather dependent the dates may change at short notice.
Conventional surfacing works
Dunton Road, Littlecote : Thursday 19th October 2023 to Tuesday 31st October 2023 – Conventional surfacing works using a full road closure between 8.30am to 5.00pm.
Wexham Street, Stoke Poges – Buckland Gate to Farthing Green Lane : Friday 27th October 2023 to Tuesday 31st October 2023 – Conventional surfacing works using a full road closure between 8.00pm to 6.00am.
Buckingham Street Aylesbury – Oxford Road to Kingsbury : Monday 31st to Saturday 4th November 2023 – Conventional surfacing works using a full road closure between 11.00pm to 6.00am.
A4 Bath Road, Taplow – Station Road to Hitcham Road : Monday 31st to Saturday 4th November 2023 – Conventional surfacing works using a full road closure between 8.00pm to 6.00am.
Buckingham Road, Addington – Addington Estate junction to Hanover Farm : Friday 3rd November 2023 to Saturday 4th November 2023 – Conventional surfacing works using a full road closure between 8.00pm to 6.00am.
Footway resurfacing works
Wellesley Avenue, Iver – Richings Way to Bathurst Walk : Monday 2nd October 2023 to Saturday 18th November 2023 – Footway resurfacing works using a footway closure and multi way traffic signals between 8.00am to 5.00pm.
Amersham Road, Chesham Bois – Speed Limit Sign (near Chiltern Road entrance) to The Leys : Monday 30th October 2023 to Friday 1st December 2023 – Footway resurfacing works using a footway closure between 10.00am and 3.00pm.
Drainage works
Main Street, Gawcott : Monday 23rd October 2023 to Friday 3rd November 2023 – Drainage works using give and take traffic management between 8.00am and 5.00pm.
Kingsmead, Monks Risborough : Monday 30th October 2023 to Friday 15th December 2023 – Drainage works using both a road closure and give and take traffic management between 8.00am and 5.00pm.
Network improvement works
A4146 Stoke Hammond Bypass – A418 Roundabout to Willowbridge roundabout : Wednesday 25th to Friday 3rd November 2023 – Safety barrier repairs using back to back lane closures between 9.30am to 3.30pm.
A422 Brackley Road, Westbury – From 50m West of Playing Fields Road to 50m East of Main Street : Monday 23rd October 2023 to Friday 10th November 2023 – Installation of a puffin crossing. Phase 1 works to include drainage and ducting. Works will be carried out under 4-way lights, 9.30am to 3.30pm.
Aston Clinton bypass from Woodlands roundabout to Tring Hill slip roads : Thursday 2nd November 2023 to Friday 3rd November 2023 – Safety barriers repairs using back to back lane closures between 9.30am and 3.30pm.
Highway traffic signals
B4443 Black Bridge, Stoke Road / Mandeville Road, Aylesbury : Monday 23rd October 2023 to Friday 10th November 2023 – Upgrade of the traffic signals using multi-way traffic signals.
Street lighting – Various locations in Marlow : Monday 23rd October 2023 to Friday 10th November 2023 – As part of a rolling program of works, various street light lanterns across Buckinghamshire are being replaced, starting in Marlow upgrading 427 lanterns to LED energy efficient lighting achieving approximately 70% energy saving, whilst providing better quality lighting and leading to reduced future maintenance costs.

A41 Bicester Road, Waddesdon : Monday 30th October 2023 to Friday 3rd November 2023 – Road lining refreshing works using multi-way traffic signals Monday to Friday between 9.00pm to 5.00am.
Oxford Road, Aylesbury : Monday 30th October 2023 to Wednesday 1st November 2023 – Road lining refreshing works using a lane closure Monday to Friday between 9.00pm to 5.00am.
Watermead, Aylesbury : Monday 30th October 2023 to Tuesday 31st October 2023 – Road lining refreshing works using stop and go traffic management between 8.00am and 5.00pm.
