Roadworks in Buckinghamshire for the week ahead – Monday 4th December 2023
Week commencing Monday 4th December 2023 roadworks are scheduled to take place at the following locations in Buckinghamshire.
The works are part of a rolling programme. As some activities are weather dependent the dates may change at short notice.
Conventional Surfacing Works
A413 Buckingham Road, Aylesbury : Monday 27th November 2023 to Tuesday 5th December 2023 – Conventional Surfacing works using a full road closure. In operation between 11.30pm and 5.00am.
The Broadway, Grendon Underwood : Monday 27th November 2023 to Monday 4th December 2023 – Conventional Surfacing works using a full road closure. In operation between 9.00am and 5.00pm.
Jasons Hill, Chesham : Tuesday 28th November 2023 to Monday 4th December 2023 – Conventional Surfacing works using a full road closure. In operation between 9.00am and 2.30pm.
Desborough Road, High Wycombe : Tuesday 5th December 2023 to Friday 8th December 2023 – Conventional Surfacing works using a full road closure. In operation between 8.00pm and 6.00am.
Station Road, Amersham : Tuesday 5th December 2023 to Tuesday 12th December 2023 – Conventional Surfacing works using a full road closure. In operation between 8.00pm and 6.00am.
Bicester Road, Long Crendon : Tuesday 5th December 2023 to Tuesday 12th December 2023 – Conventional Surfacing works using a full road closure. In operation between 8.00pm and 6.00am.
Windmill Lane, Widmer End : Wednesday 7th December 2023 to Wednesday 13th December 2023 – Conventional Surfacing works using a full road closure. In operation between 8.00pm and 6.00am.
Footway Resurfacing Works
Craigwell Avenue, Aylesbury : Monday 13th November 2023 to Monday 22nd January – Footway resurfacing works using a footway closure and give and take traffic management. In operation between 7.00am and 7.00pm.
Rowland Way, Aylesbury : Monday 20th November 2023 to Tuesday 19th December 2023 – Footway resurfacing works using a footway closure and multi-way traffic signals where required. In operation between 7.00am and 7.00pm.
Chartridge Lane and Park Road, Chesham : Monday 20th November 2023 to Saturday 27th January 2024 – Footway resurfacing works using a footway closure and multi-way traffic signals where required, in operation between 7.00am and 7.00pm. These works will be done in two phases to allow a break for Christmas. Phase 1 will finish on Friday 22nd December 2023. Phase 2 will recommence from Monday 8th January 2024 and finish on Saturday 27th January 2024
Drainage Works
Brudenell Drive, Marsh Lane and Lower Road, Stoke Mandeville : Monday 27th November 2023 to Friday 12th January 2024 – Drainage works using both a lane management and give and take traffic management between 8.00am and 5.00pm on Brudenell Drive, 7.00am and 7.00pm on Marsh Lane and 9.30am and 3.30pm on Lower Road.
Street Lighting Works
Marlow – Various locations : Upgrade of LED lanterns.
Aylesbury – Various locations : upgrade of LED lanterns.
Buckinghamshire – Various locations : Upgrade of illuminated signs and bollards (located on central traffic islands and roundabouts).
Buckinghamshire – Various locations : Upgrade of damaged street lighting columns and removal or damaged stumps.
Road Lining Works
Mill End Road, High Wycombe : Wednesday 6th December 2023 to Friday 8th December 2023 – Road Lining works using stop and go traffic management. In operation between 9.30am and 3.00pm.
Road Safety Works
A421 Thornborough Bridge : Monday 4th December 2023 to Tuesday 5th December 2023 – Safety Barrier Repair works using two-way temporary traffic lights. In operation between 9.30am and 3.30pm.
Network Improvement Works
A413 Amersham Road, Gerrards Cross : Monday 27th November 2023 to Friday 8th December 2023 – Central reservation upgrade using a back-to-back lane closure. In operation between 9.30am and 3.30pm.
Trial Hole Investigation Works
Weedon Hill, Hyde Heath : Monday 4th December 2023 to Friday 8th December 2023 – Trial Hole investigation using two-way temporary traffic lights. In operation between 9.30am and 3.00pm.
Network Improvement Works – Traffic Calming
Water Stratford Road, Water Stratford : Monday 4th December 2023 to Friday 15th December 2023 – Traffic calming starts Monday 4th December 2023 for 10 days. Two-way traffic lights will be in place from Monday 4th December 2023 to Friday 8th December 2023 between 8.00am and 5.00pm. A road closure will be in place from Monday 11th December 2023 to Friday 15th December 2023 between 9.30am to 5.00pm.
