Roadworks in Buckinghamshire for the week ahead – Monday 12th February 2024
Week commencing Monday 12th February 2024 roadworks are scheduled to take place at the following locations in Buckinghamshire.
The works are part of a rolling programme. As some activities are weather dependent the dates may change at short notice.
Conventional Surfacing Works
Station Road, Cheddington : Monday 22nd January 2024 to Tuesday 13th February 2024 – Conventional surfacing works using a road closure in operation between 9.30am and 3.00pm.
Arch Way, High Wycombe : Monday 5th February 2024 to Tuesday 13th February 2024 – Conventional surfacing works using a road closure in operation between 8.00pm and 6.00am.
Bishopstone, Bishopstone : Tuesday 13th February 2024 to Friday 23rd February 2024 – Conventional surfacing works using a road closure in operation between 8.30am and 5.00pm from Tuesday 13th to Friday 16th February 2024 and between 9.00am and 3.30pm from Monday 19 to Friday 23 February 2024.
Treadaway Hill, Flackwell Heath : Thursday 15th February 2024 to Tuesday 27th February 2024 – Conventional surfacing works using a road closure in operation between 8.00pm and 6.00am.
Hughenden Road, High Wycombe : Wednesday 14th February 2024 to Friday 16th February 2024 – Conventional surfacing works using a road closure in operation between 7.30am and 5.30pm.
Osier Way / Top Angel, Buckingham : Monday 12th February 2024 to Sunday 10th March 2024 – Conventional surfacing works using a combination of two-way temporary traffic lights and a road closure. The two-way lights will be in place 24 / 7 from Monday 12 February 2024 to Monday 26 February 2024. A 24 / 7 road closure will be in place from Monday 26 February 2024 to Sunday 10 March 2024.
Westcott Road, Ashdendon : Thursday 15th February 2024 to Friday 1st March 2024 – Conventional surfacing works using a 24 / 7 road closure.
Footways Resurfacing Works
Craigwell Avenue, Aylesbury : Monday 13th November to Friday 16th February 2024 – Footway resurfacing works using a footway closure and give and take traffic management in operation between 7.00am and 7.00pm.
North Road / Windmill Lane, Widmer : Monday 8th January 2024 to Saturday 23rd February 2024 – Footway resurfacing works using multi-way traffic signals in operation between 9.00am and 3.00pm.
Market Hill, Buckingham : Monday 22nd January 2024 to Friday 16th February 2024 – Footway resurfacing works using multi-way traffic signals in operation between 9.30am and 3.30pm.
Thorney Lane South, Iver : Monday 22nd January 2024 to Friday 23rd February 2024 – Footway resurfacing works using a footpath closure and multi-way traffic signals in operation between 7.00am and 7.00pm.
Gold Hill West, Chalfont St Peter : Monday 12th February 2024 to Saturday 16th March 2024 – Footway resurfacing works using a footway closure between 9.30am and 3.00pm.
Network Safety Works
Bicester Road, Aylesbury – From Edge Street to Southern Road : Monday 12th February 2024 to Friday 16th February 2024 – Upgrades to the existing pedestrian crossing point, installing a new crossing point, high friction surfacing and carrying out lining refreshment using three-way signals. In operation between 8.30am and 5.00pm. The high friction and lining works will be undertaken at night on Thursday 15th and Friday 16th February 2024 using three-way temporary traffic lights between 8.00pm and 6.00am.
Street Lighting Works
Aylesbury – Various Locations : Upgrade of LED lanterns.
Beaconsfield – Various Locations : Upgrade of LED lanterns.
Buckinghamshire – Various Locations : Upgrade of illuminated signs and bollards (located on central traffic islands and roundabouts).
Buckinghamshire – Various Locations : Upgrade of damaged street lighting columns and removal or damaged stumps.
Marlow – Various Locations : Upgrade of LED lanterns.
