UK Triathlon is coming to Chesham in July 2024

Chesham will play host to an exhilarating weekend of triathlon, organised by UK Triathlon, in July 2024.

Taking place over the weekend of Saturday 13th July 2024 and Sunday 14th July 2024, the event promises an unforgettable experience for athletes of all ages and abilities.

The weekend starts with the Chesham Kids Triathlon inviting young would-be athletes aged 5 to 16 to participate in a thrilling multi sport challenge, all within the grounds of Chesham Leisure Centre. Designed to encourage kids of all abilities to ‘have a go’, this event promises a relaxed fun-filled day of swimming, cycling, and running, with a fantastic medal at the end!

On Sunday, the action continues with the Buckinghamshire Triathlon, offering swim, bike, run events for adults, from total novice to seasoned triathlete. With Sprint and Super Sprint distances available, as well as a non-competitive Fun wave and a dedicated Cancer Research UK event, there’s a challenge for everyone, whatever age, and ability.

The details of the event are :

  • Sprint Distance : 300m Swim, 20k Cycle, 5k Run.
  • Super Sprint Distance : 150m Swim, 10k Cycle, 2.5k Run.
  • Fun Distance : 150m Swim, 10k Cycle, 2.5k Run.
  • Fun2Tri Distance : 100m Swim, 6.5k Cycle, 1.25k Run.
  • CRUK Wave : 150m swim, 6.5k Cycle, 2.5k Run.
