Roadworks in Buckinghamshire for the week ahead – Monday 13th May 2024
Week commencing Monday 13th May 2024 roadworks are scheduled to take place at the following locations in Buckinghamshire.
The works are part of a rolling programme. As some activities are weather dependent the dates may change at short notice.
Conventional Resurfacing Works
Frith Hill, South Heath : Monday 13th May 2024 to Tuesday 21st May 2024 – Conventional resurfacing works using a road closure. In operation between Monday and Friday 7.00am and 7.00pm.
Surface Dressing Preparatory Works
Bletchley Road, Drayton Parslow : Monday 13th May 2024 to Friday 17th May 2024 – Surface dressing preparatory works using two-way temporary traffic lights. In operation between Monday and Friday 9.30am and 3.30pm.
Plane and Patch Works
Deep Mill Lane, Little Kingshill : Monday 13th May 2024 to Friday 17th May 2024 – Plane and patch resurfacing works using a road closure. In operation between Monday and Friday 7.00am and 5.00pm.
Blenheim Road, High Wycombe : Monday 13th May 2024 to Friday 17th May 2024 – Plane and patch resurfacing works using a road closure. In operation between Monday and Friday 8.00pm and 6.00am.
Footway Reconstruction
The Parade, Bourne End : Tuesday 7th May 2024 to Tuesday 4th June 2024 – Footway reconstruction works using a footpath closure. In operation between Monday and Friday 9.30am and 3.30pm.
Street Lighting Works
Buckinghamshire – Various Locations : Upgrade of LED lanterns.
Buckinghamshire – Various Locations : Upgrade of illuminated signs and bollards (Located on central traffic islands and roundabouts).
Buckinghamshire – Various Locations : Upgrade of damaged street lighting columns and removal or damaged stumps.
Buckinghamshire – Belisha Beacons – Various Locations : Upgrade, improvement and re-instatement of beacons, lanterns and posts.
Buckinghamshire – School Wig Wag Units – Various Locations : Upgrade of existing flashing units to Bluetooth technology enabled and corrections / reinstatements to advanced warning signs.
Structures Works
Berry Hill Footbridge Replacement, Near Mill Lane, Taplow : Tuesday 7th May 2024 to Friday 14th June 2024 – Footbridge replacement works along Mill Lane : Mill Lane Bridge Section – using a 24 / 7 road closure as well as localised parking restrictions.
Active Travel Works
Picasso Place, Aylesbury : Monday 13th May 2024 to Friday 7th June 2024 – Raised table and cycleway installation using give and take traffic management. In operation between Monday and Friday 8.00am and to 4.30pm.
Traffic Calming Works
London Road, Aston Clinton : Tuesday 2nd April 2024 to Tuesday 20th August 2024 – Traffic calming works using a combination of both two-way and three-way temporary traffic lights. In operation between 8.00am and 5.00pm.
