Roadworks in Buckinghamshire for the week ahead – Monday 20th May 2024
Week commencing Monday 20th May 2024 roadworks are scheduled to take place at the following locations in Buckinghamshire.
The works are part of a rolling programme. As some activities are weather dependent the dates may change at short notice.
Conventional Resurfacing Works
Frith Hill, South Heath : Monday 13th May 2024 to Tuesday 21st May 2024 – Conventional resurfacing works using a road closure. In operation between Monday and Friday 7.30am and 6.00pm.
Preston Hill, Chesham : Tuesday 21st May 2024 – Conventional remedial works using a road closure. In operation between 7.00am and 7.00pm.
Buckingham Road and Perry Hill, Edgcott : Wednesday 22nd May 2024 to Thursday 23rd May 2024 – Conventional resurfacing works using a road closure. In operation between 9.00am and 3.00pm.
Radclive Road, Gawcott : Friday 24th May 2024 to Wednesday 29th May 2024 – Conventional resurfacing works using a road closure. In operation between 7.00pm and 6.00am.
Footway Reconstruction
The Parade, Bourne End : Tuesday 7th May 2024 to Tuesday 4th June 2024 – Footway reconstruction works using a footpath closure. In operation between Monday and Friday 9.30am and 3.30pm.

A421 Tingewick Road, Radclive : Monday 20th May 2024 to Tuesday 21st May 2024 – Plane and patch works using a road closure. In operation Monday and Friday 8.00pm and 6.00am.
Chesham Road, Amersham : Monday 20th May 2024 to Friday 24th May 2024 – Plane and patch civils works using standard traffic management. In operation between Monday and Friday between 9.30am and 3.30pm.
Deep Mill Lane, Little Kingshill : Monday 20th May 2024 to Thursday 23rd May 2024 – Plane and patch works using a road closure. In operation between Monday and Friday 7.00am and 7.00pm.
A41 Bicester Road, Aylesbury : Wednesday 22nd May 2024 to Thursday 23rd May 2024 – Plane and patch remedial works using a road closure. In operation between Monday and Friday 8.00pm and 6.00am.

Berry Hill Footbridge Replacement, Near Mill Lane, Taplow : Tuesday 7th May 2024 to Friday 14th June 2024 – Footbridge replacement works along Mill Lane : Mill Lane Bridge Section – using a 24 / 7 road closure as well as localised parking restrictions.
Marlow Suspension Bridge, High Street, Marlow : Monday 20th May 2024 to Tuesday 4th June 2024 – Bridge survey and investigation works along High Street using a road closure. In operation between 8.00pm and 6.00am.
Active Travel Works
Picasso Place, Aylesbury : Monday 13th May 2024 to Friday 7th June 2024 – Raised table and cycleway installation using give and take traffic management. In operation between Monday and Friday 8.00am and 4.30pm.
Coring Investigation Works
Lee Clump Road / Swan Bottom Road, The Lee : Monday 20th May 2024 – Coring investigation works using standard traffic management. In operation between Monday and Friday 9.30am and 3.00pm.
Place Farm Way, Monks Risborough : Tuesday 21st May 2024 – Coring investigation works using a road closure. In operation between Monday and Friday 8.00am and 4.00pm.
Thorney Mill Road, Iver : Thursday 23rd May 2024 to Friday 24th May 2024 – Coring investigation works using a road closure. In operation between Monday and Friday 9.30am and 3.30pm.
Traffic Calming Works
London Road, Aston Clinton : Tuesday 2nd April 2024 to Tuesday 20th August 2024 – Traffic calming works using a combination of both two-way and three-way temporary traffic lights. In operation between 8.00am and 5.00pm.
Road Safety Maintenance Works
Weedon Hill, Hyde Heath : Monday 20th May 2024 to Friday 21st June 2024 – Road safety maintenance works including widening the existing footway, installing new street lighting columns, surface water drainage, installing a puffin crossing, carriageway resurfacing and road markings. These works will be carried out using two-way temporary traffic lights and a 24-hour road closure, which will be in operation from Tuesday 28th May 2024 to Friday 31st May 2024. A night time closure will be in operation from Monday 10th June 2024 to Sunday 16th June 2024 between 8.00pm and 6.00am.
Developer Funded Schemes
Oakfield Road / Bellingham Way junction – Stocklake, Aylesbury : Junction improvement work began week commencing Monday 13th May 2024 at Stocklake, Aylesbury and is expected to last for approximately 11 weeks. During the works, there will be traffic light management plus some temporary road closures and diversions will be necessary which will have an impact on local traffic. There will also be two limited periods of overnight road closure planned for Wednesday 3rd to Friday 5th July 2024 and Monday 8th to Thursday 11th July 2024.
