25 year old woman injured in Aylesbury assault

Thames Valley Police is appealing for witnesses following an assault in Aylesbury in which a 25 year old woman was injured.

On Sunday 25th May 2014 at approximately 1.30am the victim, a 25-year-old woman, was in travelling along the A418 between Bierton and Rowsham towards Aylesbury in a light-coloured saloon vehicle when an altercation took place in the vehicle.

A man, described as being an Asian man of small skinny build, dragged the victim out of the vehicle and further assaulted her.

The victim sustained a chipped tooth and scratches in the incident but did not require hospital treatment.

On the 25th May 2014 a 23-year-old man from Bedford was arrested in connection with the incident and was released on bail pending further enquiries until 5th July 2014.
