Following an earlier incident at Banbury station the Chiltern Line between London Marylebone and Birmingham has now fully reopened and services are running to Birmingham once again.

Services may experience delays and short notice cancellations whilst the train operators try and get their service back to normal.

The line was closed due to British Transport Police and Thames Valley Police officers dealing with an incident at Banbury station. Trained negotiators from Thames Valley Police were speaking to a man who had climbed a signal gantry at the station.

Banbury station was closed and trains were stopped while the incident was ongoing.
