Road surfacing works planned from 17th October 2014 to 23rd October 2014
Last week Transport for Buckinghamshire (TfB) replaced 111 traditional lanterns with LEDs, crews attended 472 potholes during the last week, routine maintenance crews emptied 1577 gullies.
On the A40 Abbey Way flyover new surfacing was completed and new barriers were installed. The A40 Abbey Way flyover project will be complete by the end of October. Surfacing at Coombe Lane, Naphill was completed.
Severe Weather Recovery Scheme work continued in the following locations:
Blackwell Hall Lane, Latimer
Cokes Lane, Little Chalfont
Nightingales Lane, Chalfont St Giles
Parish Lane, Farnham Common
Worminghall Road, Worminghall
Cheddington Road, Pitstone
Footway preparation works also continued at Station Rd, Stoke Mandeville.
In the coming week LED replacement programme continues on Oxford Road, Denham this week, with the team also visiting the Linslade Western Bypass in Soulbury as well.
20th-21st October 2014 : Linslade Western Bypass – 10.00am to 2.00pm – traffic lights
20th-24th October 2014 : Oxford Road, Denham – 9.30am to 3.30pm – traffic lights
*please note, the above are timing windows of work the TfB contractor is permitted to work within. The restrictions to the road will fall sometime within this.
The LED replacement scheme is due for completion by Christmas with a total of over 2,500 lanterns replaced in this time.
