Princes Risborough Information Centre to move location on Tuesday 16th December 2014
At 9.30am on Tuesday 16th December 2014 the information centre run by Wycombe District Council in Princes Risborough is to move location to be permanently based in the same building as Princes Risborough’s Library at Bell Street.
By sharing premises with the Library Wycombe District Council has been able to make savings on the running cost of the Information Centre, securing its long-term future.
The current Information Centre located on Horns Lane is expected to close to the public at 5.00pm on Friday 12th December 2014.
The move into new premises is part of Wycombe District Council’s budget saving measures. The move will allow the Horns Lane site to be released for a new business, adding to the popular towns retail offer.
Whilst the majority of services provided by the Information Centre will continue, once relocated it will no longer be processing new benefit or housing claim applications or administering National Express tickets, day trip and holiday bookings. However the Centre will still be dealing with benefit and housing enquiries and document verification.
The Bell Street shared location of the Library and the Information Centre is conveniently located for residents and visitors to Princes Risborough, still being in the centre of town and close to other shops and facilities.
The phone number of the Information Centre will remain the same, 01844 274795, as will the email address [email protected].
Opening times of the new Princes Risborough Information Centre will be as follows :
Tuesday : 9.30am to 5.30pm
Wednesday : 9.30am to 1.00pm
Thursday : 9.00am to 5.00pm
Friday : 9.30am to 5.00pm
Saturday : 9.30am to 1.00pm
It will be closed on Monday, Sunday and Bank Holidays.
