Attempted burglaries at scout hut and youth club in Prestwood
Thames Valley Police are appealing for witnesses following two attempted burglaries in the Prestwood area.
Both incidents took place at about 2.00am on Monday 5th January 2015 in Nairdwood Lane.
In the first incident offenders forced open a door to a scout hut, in the second incident offenders forced open the fire exit doors to a youth club. Nothing was taken during either incident.
PC Roy Evans, from Amersham police station, said: ‘Luckily nothing was stolen on this occasion but the offenders still caused a large amount of damage to these two community groups’ premises.
If anyone has any information, I would urge them to make contact.‘
Thames Valley Police are asking anyone with information about either incident to please contact PC Roy Evans or PC Gary Morton, both from Amersham police station, via the Thames Valley Police 24 hour enquiry line 101.
