Fire in ground-floor bedsit in West Wycombe Road, High Wycombe

Firefighters were called after fire broke out in ground-floor bedsit in West Wycombe Road, High Wycombe at 10.35pm on Thursday 19th February 2015.

Two fire appliances with crews attended the incident from High Wycombe fire station as well as one from Beaconsfield fire station along with an officer.

One hose reel, two sets of breathing apparatus and a Positive Pressure Ventilation fan were used during the operation to extinguish the fire.

Paramedics treated a man who was suffering from the effects of breathing in smoke.
