Woman, 29, died in fatal collision on the A355 Amersham Road at Coleshill

A fatal collision involving three cars occurred on the A355 Amersham Road at Coleshill during the evening of Tuesday 25th August 2015.

The collision took place at 6.36pm about half a mile from the turning for Magpie Lane. The vehicles involved were a blue Peugeot 307, a silver VW Golf and a black Mercedes SLK.

Firefighters were called a 6.38pm. One fire appliance with crew attended the scene from Beaconsfield fire station together with one from Amersham fire station and one from Gerrards Cross fire station. An officer also attended.

A 29 year old woman died at the scene. The firefighters released an injured man from the wreckage of the vehicle in which he was travelling using hydraulic rescue equipment. He was air lifted to the Royal London Hospital where he was described as in a stable but serious condition. The driver of a third vehicle was not injured.

Sgt Fraser Chamberlain from Roads Policing at Milton Keynes Police Station said: ‘Thames Valley Police would like to speak to anyone who witnessed this collision, or may have seen the vehicles shortly before. Please contact the Serious Collision investigation team on 101.’

Thames Valley Police are appealing for anyone who may have any information about the incident to please call the 24-hour Thames Valley Police enquiry centre on 101 quoting URN 1099 25/8.
