Man and woman assaulted during GBH attack in supermarket car park at Aylesbury

At around 7.50pm on Wednesday 18th November 2015 a man and woman were assaulted in an Aylesbury supermarket car park.

A 46 year old man came out of the Tesco store at Broadfields Retail Park off Bicester Road in to its car park. He became involved in an altercation with a man and a woman in the car park.

The male victim sustained ear injuries and was taken to hospital for treatment where he remains.

During the altercation the female victim, a 26 year old woman, sustained an injury to one of her fingers which also required medical treatment.

Two men, aged 68 and 32, have been arrested on suspicion of GBH with intent and both are currently in custody.

Investigating officer Detective Constable Ben Giddings, from Aylesbury Force CID, said: ‘We are investigating the circumstances of this incident and I would like to appeal to anyone who was in the car park at the time of the incident and saw what happened or anyone who has any information about it.

Thames Valley Police are appealing for anyone with any information on the incident which could assist the investigation is asked to call the 24-hour Thames Valley Police enquiry centre on 101.
