| November 27, 2015

A planning application has been submitted for the erection of single storey village shop building at Hughenden Village Hall, Coombe Lane, Hughenden Valley, Buckinghamshire, HP14 4NX.

The new building would be constructed following the removal of the current temporary portacabin shop building.

Wycombe District Council received the planning application, reference 15/08208/FUL, on Thursday 12th November 2015, it was validated on Tuesday 24th November 2015 and a decision is expected on or before Tuesday 19th January 2015.

The current portacabin measuring 26ft x 9 ft is expected to be replaced by a building with a footprint of 28ft x 15ft with the additional space being taken up at the rear of the building.

The walls of the new building are proposed to be made of wooden feather edged timber boards, the number of parking spaces at the location is expected to remain at twelve and the number of workers at the shop is expected to remain at three part-time positions.

The proposed opening hours of the shop are 7.30am to 5.30pm from Monday to Friday, 8.00am to 3.00pm on Saturday and 8.00am to 1.00pm on Sundays and Bank Holidays.
