A two-storey, end-of-terrace house in Friarscroft Way, Aylesbury was badly damaged after fire broke out in the lounge during the early hours of Wednesday 16th December 2015.
Firefighters were called to the scene at 3.44am. Two fire appliances with crews attended from Aylesbury fire station along with the British Red Cross Fire and Emergency Support Service from Bletchley.
A hose reel, two sets of breathing apparatus, a thermal imaging camera and a Positive Pressure Ventilation fan were used by firefighters at the scene.
The ground floor of the house was 80% damaged by fire and 100% damaged by smoke. The first floor was 20% damaged by fire and 100% damaged by fire.
A man, woman and child were able to escape from the house but a dog died in the fire.
