Wed 16th Dec 2015 is the last day in current series of broadcasts from Wycombe Sound 87.9FM

Today, Wednesday 16th December 2015 is the last full day in the current series of broadcasts from Wycombe Sound 87.9FM as their Ofcom Restricted Service Licence expires at midnight tonight.

Based in a purpose built studio in Bridge Street the radio station has been on the air since Thursday 19th November 2015 during which time Wycombe Sound has proven very popular with many people and become a vital community resource.

The current twenty eight day Restricted Service Licence (RSL) was the third that Wycombe Sound have obtained. The radio station is hoping to obtain a five year licence from Ofcom to broadcast permanently to High Wycombe and the surrounding areas.
