Thames Valley Police are appealing for information after a man was robbed while walking in Downley on Christmas Day.

The victim, a 26 year old man, was walking in Hithercroft Road at about 3.00am on Christmas Day 2015. He was then assaulted from behind and struck to the back of the head causing him to fall to the ground.

The offenders stole the victim’s Apple watch.

The offenders are two black men, in their twenties to early thirties and slim. They were both wearing hooded tops with their hoods up and bandanas covering their faces.

The victim sustained facial injuries but did not require hospital treatment.

Investigating officer, PC Thomas Roberts of Local CID based at High Wycombe police station, said: ‘I would appeal to anyone who was in the vicinity of Hithercroft Road at about 3am on Christmas Day to contact police so you can tell us what you saw or heard.

I would particularly appeal to anyone who recognises the descriptions of the offenders to also come forward so we can bring justice to the victim.
