Firefighters attended Cliveden House & Pavilion Spa, Taplow

Firefighters were called to Cliveden House & Pavilion Spa, Cliveden Road, Taplow at 9.23am on Wednesday 6th January 2015 after fire broke out in the sauna area and roof space of 15m x 15m spa building detached from the main house.

One fire appliance with crew attended from Beaconsfield fire station, two from Slough fire station, one from Maidenhead fire station, one from Windsor fire station and one from Heathrow fire station. Three officers also attended the scene.

A main jet, two hose reels, four sets of breathing apparatus and a light portable pump were used during the operation to extinguish the fire.

The portable pump was used to pump water from the swimming pool which was used to fight the fire.
