Nine year old boy sexually assaulted while walking along a street in Aylesbury

A nine year old boy has been sexually assaulted in broad daylight while walking along a street at Aylesbury.

On Tuesday 9th February 2016, between about 3.15pm and 3.35pm, two nine year old boys were walking down Ingram Avenue when they were approached by a man who touched one boy inappropriately over his clothing.

The offender then got into a car and drove away. The offender is described as a man in his thirties with dark hair. He was wearing dark clothing.

Investigating officer, Det Con Melissa Lee from the Child Abuse Investigation Unit based at Aylesbury police station, said: ‘If you witnessed this offence or have any information please contact police via the non-emergency number 101.

We are conducting a thorough operation and urge any witnesses to come forward.

We have carried out a house to house and officers have been conducting high visibility patrols in the area, to provide reassurance, to receive information and answer questions as appropriate.
