Permission given to build 77 residential units on the site of a former snooker and bingo club in Desborough Road, High Wycombe
Planning permission has been granted for the construction of seventy seven residential units at the site of a former snooker and bingo club in Desborough Road, High Wycombe.
The development, by Paradigm Housing Group, is planned for the site of former Needham Bowl at 241 Desborough Road & Leigh Street, High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire, HP11 2QW.
The plans will involve the demolition of an existing former factory building, landscaping, underground parking, modification of the access to Desborough Road and creation of new footpath from Desborough Road to Leigh Street.
The development will provide seventy seven residential units comprising 1 and 2 bedroom flats and 7 B1 units. Thirty five percent of the residential units are to be affordable housing.
Planning permission, including a Section 106 planning obligation, was granted by Wycombe District Council on Wednesday 23rd December 2015 under reference 15/05594/FUL, this is an alternative scheme to planing application reference 11/07124/FUL which was originally for seventy four residential units.
