New finance director appointed at Buckinghamshire Healthcare NHS Trust

Buckinghamshire Healthcare NHS Trust has announced the appointment of new finance director, James Drury, who will join the Trust in September 2016.

James is currently director of finance for NHS England South (South Central) and has over 10 years of NHS experience, including at Monitor, the independent regulator of NHS foundation trusts, and Northampton General Hospital NHS Trust where he was finance director for five years. James also brings significant knowledge of the private sector having spent 15 years with auditors KPMG.

His post, which includes responsibility for our IT and estates, is crucial to implementing our transformation strategy to achieve clinical and financial sustainability and, ultimately, become one of the safest healthcare systems in the country.
