Armed robbery at the Co-Op in Bells Hill Green, Stoke Poges prompts police witness appeal
An armed robbery took place at the Co-Op in Bells Hill Green, Stoke Poges on Monday 1st August 2016 at about 9.40pm.
Four men entered the store, one armed with a knife, and stole cash and cigarettes. No one was hurt in the incident.
The men all had their faces covered and were were all wearing dark clothing. The man with the knife was wearing a blue top.
Investigating officer Det Sgt Tracey Benham, based at Aylesbury police station, said: ‘We are conducting a thorough investigation into this incident and we are pursuing a number of leads.
It was very fortunate that nobody was injured during this robbery and obviously the members of staff are distressed by this incident.
We are appealing for anyone who has any information about this incident, or who saw anything suspicious in the area at the time, to contact police via the 24 hour non emergency number 101.‘
