Police charge man and woman in connection with arson attack on house in Aylesbury

A man and a woman have been charged by Thames Valley Police in connection with an incident of arson in Aylesbury.

The 43 year old man and 36 year old woman, both of Griffin Place, Aylesbury, were arrested on Monday 19th September 2016 and were charged on Tuesday 20th September 2016 with one count of arson with intent/reckless as to whether life was endangered.

The charge is in connection with an incident that occurred at around 1.30am on Monday 19th September 2016 in which accelerants were used set fire to the front of a property in Bedgrove (Road) in the Bedgrove area of Aylesbury while nine occupants were inside.

Both of those charged were remanded to appear at High Wycombe Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday 21st September 2016 where they were further remanded to appear at Aylesbury Crown Court on Tuesday 25th October 2016.
