Access All Areas, a Buckinghamshire based tour business that has achieved international renown and success, has been presented with the Queen’s Award for Enterprise at the world famous Abbey Road in London.

The award was presented on Tuesday 18th October 2016 by The Lord Lieutenant of Buckinghamshire, Sir Henry Aubrey-Fletcher and the Chairman of Buckinghamshire County Council, Val Letheren.

Based in School Road, Wooburn Green, Access All Areas runs a series of London Rock Tours across the capital.

Popular with tourists and rock fans from across the world, the tours offer the chance to follow in the footsteps of your favourite rock star or band including the likes of The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, Pink Floyd and Jimmy Hendrix by visiting famous landmarks and sites within London that were significant on their journey to fame.

Set up in 2009 by husband and wife team Bruce and Thelma Cherry the company was presented with a Queen’s Award for Enterprise by Sir Henry, Her Majesty The Queen’s official representative. The award, in the International Trade category, recognises the significant growth Access All Areas has made in overseas sales and business in the past three years.

Presenting the award at the iconic Abbey Road in London, Sir Henry said: ‘I am delighted to present this award to Access All Areas and congratulate them on their hard won success in building up their business in what can be an extremely competitive market.

Their success shows just what can be achieved with dedication and hard work and should be a shining example to others.
