Woman, 18, sexually assaulted on No. 32 bus in High Wycombe

An 18 year old woman has been sexually assaulted while traveling on the number 32 bus between High Wycombe bus station and Booker.

The incident occurred at about 12.10pm on Saturday 15th October 2016.

The victim was sitting towards the rear of the lower deck of the bus when a man came and sat next to her and sexually assaulted her.

The offender is described as black, about 5ft 8in, of skinny build and was wearing a dark puffa style jacket and blue jeans.

Investigating Officer, PC Richard Lunn from High Wycombe police station, said: ‘This was a distressing incident for the victim and I would like to speak to anyone that may have been on this bus at this time and witnessed this incident.

I would urge anyone that may have any information, no matter how trivial it may seem, to please get in contact with me via the Thames Valley Police enquiry centre on 101.

A 23 year old man from High Wycombe has been arrested on suspicion of sexual assault in connection with this incident and has been bailed to return to Aylesbury police station on Tuesday 13th December 2016.
