Man attacked with hammer outside Co-Operative Food Store in Plomer Green Lane, Downley
A 24 year old man was assaulted with a hammer outside the Co-Operative Food Store in Plomer Green Lane, Downley, High Wycombe.
The incident happened on Tuesday 28th February 2017 between 7.00pm and 7.15pm. As the victim left the shop he was attacked with a hammer by a man who was outside the store.
The offender is described as a white man in his mid-twenties, 6ft 2ins tall, of medium build with short dark hair and a broken nose. He was wearing a black hooded top with Puma written in white across the chest, blue jeans and was using a dark blue Ford Mondeo. He was accompanied by a slim white woman who was about 5ft 8ins tall with long blonde hair tied in a bun.
The victim sustained bruises to his body and arms from defending himself. It’s believed that the victim and offender may have known each other.
Thames Valley Police have launched an appeal for witnesses following the incident.
PC Colin Targett of High Wycombe police station said: ‘We are conducting a full investigation into this incident and if you witnessed anything or have any information about the offender and the women he was with please come forward and contact me.
