Risborough Springs Swim and Fitness Centre to get £1.2m extension

Risborough Springs Swim and Fitness Centre is to get a £1.2m extension to provide new fitness and leisure facilities in Princes Risborough.

The new extension to the facilities in Stratton Road, Princes Risborough will include a dedicated fitness studio and an enlarged gym.

At the moment the Risborough Community Centre, also in Stratton Road, hosts studio based classes on behalf of the Risborough Springs Swim and Fitness Centre.

It is hoped the design for the new extension will reach the planning application stage by the summer of 2018 and that a contract to build the new extension will be finalised by the autumn of 2018.

Subject to agreement at a meeting to be held on Thursday 22nd February 2018 Wycombe District Council, the owners of the Risborough Springs Swim and Fitness Centre, intend design and build the extended facilities in partnership with Places for People Leisure the current operator of the centre.
