Alcohol and drugs issues tackled in operation to combat anti-social behaviour in High Wycombe
An operation to combat anti-social behaviour in High Wycombe town centre took place on Friday 9th February 2018.
Thames Valley Police, One Recovery Bucks, Wycombe District Council and the Wycombe Homeless Connection came together to conduct a joint operation to tackle anti-social behaviour, alcohol and drugs issues in the town centre.
As a result of the operation four stop and searches were carried out with drugs or stolen goods recovered, one arrest was made and several individuals were referred to One Recovery Bucks. Over 200 leaflets were issued to members of the public to alert them of bag thefts.
The crack down was instigated after the problems had recently been highlighted by members of the public.
Thames Valley Police are advising anyone who witnesses any suspicious activity or incidents of anti-social behaviour to please report it to the Thames Valley Police enquiry centre on 101.
