Man from High Wycombe sentenced to prison for drug offences

A man from High Wycombe has been sentenced to three years and four months imprisonment for drug offences.

The 26 year old man of Wendover Street, High Wycombe has been convicted of possession of class B drugs and being concerned in the supply of class A drugs.

The man was arrested on Sunday 30th April 2017 and charged with both counts on Wednesday 14th March 2018. He appeared at Aylesbury Crown Court on Wednesday 15th August 2018 where he pleaded guilty to both charges and was sentenced to prison the next day.

Investigating officer Detective Constable Caroline Timmis, of Force CID at High Wycombe, said: ‘[The man] received a lengthy sentence for these offences.

Thames Valley Police will continue to tackle drugs offences extremely robustly and conduct thorough investigations to bring offenders to justice.
