Man threatened to stab 14 year old boy during robbery in Aylesbury

A 14 year old boy was robbed in Aylesbury on Friday 5th October 2018.

The robbery occurred at about 2.25pm in Friarage Road, near to Mill Way, Aylesbury.  The boy was walking along Friarage Road when a man and a woman cycled passed him. The man then approached the victim, telling him to hand over his belongings.

When the boy refused to hand over his belongings the man threatened to stab him. The boy then gave the man his wallet, including bank cards, cash and train ticket.

Investigating officer, PC Lisa Murton said: ‘I am appealing to the public to help our investigation into this robbery of a boy in broad daylight.

If you saw a man and a woman on bikes in the vicinity of Friarage Road and Mill Way on Friday afternoon, or have any other information please contact police as soon as possible.

The man is white, about 5ft 4ins and slim. He was wearing a baseball cap, a green scarf covering his face, a black leather jacket, dark blue jeans and grey Nike trainers.

He was riding a small blue mountain bike, possibly a child’s bike.

The woman was white, of large build with long red hair. She was wearing green jeans and a white strap top.

Thankfully the victim was not hurt during the robbery, but understandably has been left distressed.
