Fire broke out on the first floor of a derelict building in Leigh Street, High Wycombe

Fire broke out on the first floor of a derelict building in Leigh Street, High Wycombe during the late evening of Sunday 18th November 2018.

Firefighters were called to the incident at 10.28pm. Two fire appliances with crews attended from High Wycombe fire station, one from Beaconsfield fire station as well as one from Marlow fire station. An officer also attended.

Four sets of breathing apparatus, two thermal imaging cameras, one hose reel, jet, one water backpack and a Positive Pressure Ventilation fan were used during the operation to extinguish the fire.

The fire affected the first and ground floor of the building.
