Petitions trigger community governance reviews in Totteridge and Micklefield

Community governance reviews are to take place in Totteridge and Micklefield following the submission of petitions to Wycombe District Council.

On Monday 10th December 2018 two petitions calling for community governance reviews with a view to forming Parish Councils were handed in at a full Council meeting of Wycombe District Council.

The number of petitioners has since been validated and Wycombe District Council has confirmed there are enough to legally start community governance reviews on the area of both the Totteridge and Micklefield wards.

In 2019 a report will now come back to Council, via the Regulatory and Appeals Committee, with terms of references for both reviews. The reviews will be administered under the Local Government and Public Involvement in Health Act 2007.
