Police find body during search for man missing from High Wycombe

Police officers conducting a search for a missing person from High Wycombe have located the body of a man in woodland off Hammersley Lane in High Wycombe.

The body, located during the night of Saturday 29th June 2019, is believed to be that of Aaron Searle, however formal identification has not yet taken place.

At the moment police are treating the death as unexplained, but not suspicious, and Mr Searle’s next of kin have been informed and are being supported by officers.

Investigating officer Detective Inspector Nikki Hemming, based at Aylesbury police station, said: ‘Following a search yesterday, sadly, officers located the body of a man which is believed to be Mr Searle.

The thoughts of Thames Valley Police are with Mr Searle’s family at this difficult time.‘
