Police have launched an investigation following the unexplained death of a woman in Beaconsfield on Tuesday 29th October 2019.
At 6.15am officers from Thames Valley Police were called to an address in Hyde Green, Beaconsfield where they discovered the body of a woman aged in her forties. The woman was pronounced dead at the scene. A scene watch was put in place at the property.
Police have arrested a 44 year old man from Beaconsfield on suspicion of murder.
Detective Chief Superintendent, Ian Hunter, Head of Crime for Thames Valley Police, said: ‘Detectives from the Major Crime Unit are investigating the circumstances of this incident, and trying to establish exactly how this woman has died.
We are appealing for anyone who has any information that could assist us to come forward and contact police.
I would like to reassure the public that we believe this incident to be contained to the property and isolated.
An arrest has been made and a scene watch remains in place.
Residents in the community are likely to see an increase in police presence in the area while we investigate the circumstances of this incident. Anyone who has concerns or information can talk to a police officer.

UPDATED 30th October 2019 at 6.00pm : A post mortem examination on the deceased has revealed ‘no evidence of third party involvement‘. The man who was arrested in connection with the death has been released with no further action to be taken by the police.
