Pedestrian injured during collision with a vehicle in Totteridge Lane, High Wycombe
A pedestrian was injured during a collision with a vehicle in Totteridge Lane, High Wycombe on Monday 11th November 2019.
A man in his forties was walking along Totteridge Lane, High Wycombe at around 10.40pm, however the man fell from the pavement into the road. Before the man was able to get to his feet, whilst he was laid in the road, a vehicle ran over his foot causing fractures to pedestrians ankle which required surgery.
The driver of the vehicle involved in the collision did not stop at the scene.
Investigating officer PC Martin Woodford of the Joint Operations Roads Policing Unit based Amersham, said: ‘We are investigating this incident in which a driver has failed to stop and left the victim with serious injuries.
We are asking anyone who was driving or walking along Totteridge Lane at around 10.40pm on Monday (11/11) to please come forward if they have information.
If anyone who was driving along Totteridge Lane has a dash-cam, we would ask them to review any footage and get in touch.
Additionally if any properties on the road have external CCTV cameras we would also ask them to review their footage and contact us.‘
