Witness appeal launched following a serious injury collision in High Wycombe
An appeal for witnesses launched following a collision in High Wycombe in which a motorcyclist received serious injuries.
On Saturday 30th May 2020, at around 4.25pm, a collision occurred on the A4155 Marlow Road, near to Wycombe District Athletics Complex, involving a grey Audi RS3 and a red Suzuki GSF 600 motorbike.
The rider of the motorcycle, a man in his seventies from Buckinghamshire, suffered serious injuries in the collision. He was taken to the John Radcliffe Hospital for treatment.
The driver of the car, was not injured and did not attend hospital.
Investigating officer PC Nigel Rosier of the Joint Operations Roads Police Unit, based at Amersham, said: ‘This was an incident in which a man received serious injuries.
We are continuing to investigate the circumstances of this incident and we have made one arrest.
We would ask anyone who witnessed this incident or if you have dash-cam footage of either of the vehicle prior to the collision or the footage that may have captured the incident we would ask you to come forward.‘
Thames Valley Police are appealing for anyone with information about the collision to contact them online or by calling 101 quoting reference 43200160248.
Police have arrested a 43 year old man from Marlow on suspicion of driving a motor vehicle with a proportion of a specified controlled drug above the specified limit. He has been release under investigation.
