Roadworks in Buckinghamshire for the week ahead – Monday 15th November 2021

Week commencing Monday 15th November 2021 Transport for Buckinghamshire will be carrying out work at the following locations.

The works are part of a rolling programme. As some activities are weather dependent the dates may change at short notice.

Conventional Surfacing Programme

A404 Amersham Hill, High Wycombe : Thursday 4th November 2021 to Tuesday 16th November 2021 – Surfacing works using a night time road closure in operation Monday to Friday between 8.00pm and 6.00am.

A4007 Slough Road, Iver : Wednesday 17th November 2021 to Sunday 21st November 2021 – Surfacing works using a road closure in operation Monday to Friday between 8.00pm and 6.00am and 24 / 7 closure at the weekend.

Plane and Patch Programme

Cogdells Lane, Chesham : Monday 15th November 2021 to Wednesday 17th November 2021 – Surface patching works using a road closure in operation Monday to Friday between 7.30am and 5.00pm.

Mill Lane, Chalfont St Giles : Thursday 18th November 2021 – Surface patching works using a road closure in operation Monday to Friday between 7.30am and 5.00pm.

Lancaster Road, High Wycombe : Thursday 18th November 2021 to Friday 19th November 2021 – Surface patching works using a night time road closure in operation Monday to Friday between 8.00pm and 6.00am.

Junction Improvement Works

A41 Bicester Road – Rabans Lane to Paradise Orchard including Jackson Road and Dickens Way, Aylesbury : Monday 20th September 2021 to June 2022 – Works will continue near to the Bicester Road junction with Sir Henry Lee Crescent / Paradise Orchard, on the North-West bound traffic lane 1. Works will involve excavation of the adjacent verge for the widening of the carriageway to create a new lane. Our works will include excavation for the installation of new kerbs, drainage and utility works, with a contraflow system setup to maintain 2-way traffic at all times. The working hours are Monday to Friday between 8.00am and 4.00pm.

Road Markings – Lining Refresh Scheme

A41 – Waddesdon to Bedgrove : Tuesday 26th October 2021 to Friday 19th November 2021 – Lining refreshment works using 2 / 3 and 4-way lights and lane closures in operation Monday to Friday between 9.00pm and 5.00am.

Bridge Schemes

High Street, Marlow – Marlow Bridge : Monday 4th October 2021 to Friday 4th February 2022 – Major bridge refurbishment using a footway closure when appropriate in operation Monday to Friday between 8.00am and 5.00pm.

Mill Lane, Taplow – Mill Lane Bridge : Monday 1st November 2021 to Friday 3rd December 2021 – Bridge demolition for Berry Hill Bridge; localised traffic management for site access point and compound area and a segregated area for pedestrians and cyclist movements. Monday to Friday between 8.00am and 4.00pm.
