Police appeal for witnesses after a man was stabbed in Aylesbury

An appeal for witnesses has been launched by Thames Valley Police after a man was stabbed inside a vehicle in Aylesbury.

On Tuesday 29th March 2022, at around 3.21pm, a man aged in his thirties was stabbed inside a vehicle in Walton Street, Aylesbury. The injured man required hospital treatment for his injuries.

Police have arrested a 28 year old man in connection with the incident on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm with intent, wounding with intent and attempted murder.

Investigating officer, Detective Inspector Simon Tyas, based at Aylesbury police station, said: ‘We believe this to be an isolated incident and following the arrest of a man, we are not looking for any further suspects.

I am appealing to any witnesses, or anyone who may have information about this incident, to please come forward.

If you have any CCTV footage or any dash-cam footage if you were in the area around the time, I’d also ask that you check any recordings in case it has captured something that could assist our investigation.
