Bus stop suspensions and service diversions in Buckinghamshire for the week ahead – Monday 5th September 2022

Week commencing Monday 5th September 2022 the following bus stop suspensions and service diversions are expected to affect bus services in Buckinghamshire.

Bus Diversions

North Orbital Road, Denham : Friday 19th August 2022 to Tuesday 25th October 2022, 10pm to 6am. Due to HS2 works this road will be closed overnight during this period. Night time 331 and 724 journeys will divert missing Denham.

Lent Rise Road, Burnham : Monday 5th to Wednesday 7th September 2022, 9.30am to 3.30pm. Due to Openreach works this road will be closed between Gore Road and Stomp Road. Bus route 53 will divert via Stomp Road and Priory Road missing stops on Lent Rise Road (except the ‘Coulson Way’ stops) Gore Road, Britwell Road and Hogfair Lane. The Tuesday only service 68 will divert via Stomp Road, Priory Road and Hogfair Lane, resuming normal route on Gore Road and missing stops on Lent Rise Road.

Mill Road, Slapton : Tuesday 6th and Wednesday 7th September 2022 9.30am to 3.30pm. Due to Openreach works this road will be closed. Bus route 162 will divert missing the stops in Slapton at these times.

High Street and Commonside, Downley : Wednesday 7th September 2022, 9.30am to 3.30pm. Due to Transport for Buckinghamshire works this road will be closed at these times. Bus route 30 will divert via Plomer Green Lane missing the stops on Commonside and Littleworth Road.

Bus Stop Closures

Cam Mead, Aylesbury : Wednesday 10th August 2022 to Wednesday 2nd November 2022. Due to Thames Water works the stop on Cam Mead will be missed during this period. Passengers are advised to use a temporary stop provided round the corner on Long Meadow.

Wendover Road, Hampden Hall : Aylesbury, Monday 15th August 2022 to Sunday 9th October 2022. Due to Transport for Buckinghamshire works the ‘Silver Birch Way’ stop for journeys towards Aylesbury will not be served during this period. Passengers are advised to use the ‘Hampden Hall’ stop instead.

Bicester Road, Aylesbury : Monday 29th August 2022 to Tuesday 12th September 2022. Due to Freeflow works the two ‘Devereux Place’ stops will not be served during this period. Passengers are advised to use the ‘Broadfield Roundabout’ stop for journeys towards town. For journeys back from town please use the stop on Rabans Lane for (route 5 only), the ‘Rabans Lane’ stop on the Bicester Road or the ‘John Kennedy’ stop on Meadowcroft.

Bushmead Road, Whitchurch : Tuesday 30th August 2022 to Monday 12th September 2022. Due to UKPN works the ‘White Swan’ stop for journeys towards Winslow will not be served on these days. Passengers are advised to use the ‘White Horse Lane’ stop instead.

Holland Avenue, Aylesbury : Tuesday 30th August 2022 to Monday 24th October 2022. Due to Thames Water works the two ‘Holland Road’ stops will not be served during this period. Passengers are advised to use the ‘Quarrendon Avenue’ stops instead.

Northern Woods, Flackwell Heath : Wednesday 31st August 2022 to Friday 16th September 2022. Due to works on behalf of Swish Fibre the two ‘Green Dragon PH’ stops and the ‘Northern Woods’ stop for journeys towards High Wycombe. Passengers are advised to use the stops on Straight Bit or Blind Lane instead.

Heath End Road, Flackwell Heath : Friday 1st to Monday 5th September 2022. Due to works in the vicinity the two ‘Stag Lane’ and ‘Rugwood Close’ stops will not be served on these days. Passengers are advised to use the ‘Bucks College’ or the ‘Fernlea Close’ stops instead.

Wycombe Lane, Wooburn Green : Monday 5th to Saturday 10th September 2022. Due to SSE works the ‘Wycombe Lane’ stop for journeys towards High Wycombe will not be served on these days. Passengers are advised to use the ‘Glory Mill Lane’ stop instead.

Plomer Hill, High Wycombe : Tuesday 6th to Thursday 8th September 2022. Due to Freeflow works the ‘Pheasant Drive’ stop for journeys towards The Pastures will not be served on these dates. Passengers are advised to use the ‘Mill End Road’ stop located on the West Wycombe Road instead or the stop on Southfield Road for route 27 only.

Beaconsfield Road, Farnham Common : Monday 5th to Wednesday 7th September 2022. Due to Freeflow works the ‘Royal Oak PH’ stop for journeys towards Slough will not be served on these days. Passengers are advised to use the ‘Templewood Lane’ stop instead.

Chilton Road, Long Crendon : Tuesday 6th September 2022 to Sunday 6th November. Due to Thames Water works the two ‘Bonnersfield’ stops will not be served during this period. Passengers are advised to use the stops located on Carters Lane or Chearsley Road instead.

Broad Street, Chesham : Thursday 8th and Friday 9th September 2022, 10.00am to 2.00pm. Due to Thames Water works the two ‘Police Station’ stops will not be served at these times. Passengers are advised to use the stops on The Broadway or the ‘Jolly Sportsman’ stops instead.

Amersham Road, Little Chalfont : Friday 9th September 2022, 8.00am to 5.00pm. Due to Virgin Media works the two ‘Church Grove’ stops will not be served at these times. Passengers are advised to use the ‘Lodge Lane’ stops instead.
