Police appeal for witnesses following an incident of affray in High Wycombe

An appeal for witnesses has been launched by Thames Valley Police following an incident of affray in High Wycombe.

On Thursday 4th April 2024, at around 1.11pm, three vehicles pulled up outside a property in Sierra Road, High Wycombe. A number of offenders got out of the vehicles carrying weapons and were trying to gain access to the property.

The offenders then made off without gaining access to the property. No one was injured.

Police have arrested nine men, aged between 18 and 56, in connection with this incident. Eight of the men have been bailed and one remains in custody.

Senior investigating officer, Detective Inspector Pete Wall, said: ‘We are carrying out a thorough investigation following this concerning incident.

A number of arrests have been made and at this time we do not believe there is a danger to the wider public.

Members of the public are likely to see an increased police presence in the area while our enquiries are ongoing.
